polishing issues

Stone:Bellagio (light green..hard as hell)
Edge:Pencil (I like it iam getting sick of bullnose) 1 1/2" lam
Issue:Polished edge is way lighter than top also making glue line ugly
Attempted correction: 1) Ager after 400....then again when finished
2) Black crystallizer after 400 then ager
3) Tung oil rubbed in then ager then polish
Current status: PISSED

this stuff polishes awesome it just turns super light...the glue color matches the top so on the lam it looks ugly because the Stone (http://g603.net) is so light. Ive had this happen with other Stone (http://g603.net) and (http://maplered.com) the ager after 400 always works but this stuff aint takin it...do you guys have any ideas on how to darken it?
